Note: This calculator provides an estimate only, based on your selections of fees payable when making an application for a Works permit. If you are unsure which items apply to you, please contact Council before lodging your application.

Tower crane requires an additional application fee and a monthly fee while in place.
If urgent, Council can process your work permit within 2 working days for an additional fee.
Civil Structure Over Public Domain
Plan review and approval fee, plus additional assessment per hour as required.
Paving, kerb & gutter, landscaping, stormwater — fees for review, recheck and inspections apply.
Temporary shoring, including ground anchors, in the road reserve.
Fees apply per month hoarding is in place and per lineal metre used. Fees vary by hoarding type.
Each hoarding type can be selected independently. Minimum Values are 1m and 1 Month

Vehicle Footpath Crossing
Choose the type of development the crossing applies to.
Select the number of extra crossings required for Other Development.
Alignment of levels between internal boundary and Council’s road reserve and/or adjoining public land.
Used for permits to connect public utility service to development sites.
Stormwater drainage works including stormwater connection to Council’s Street kerb or Council’s stormwater drainage system.
Temp Full Road Closure (For Construction)
Must be lodged 10 weeks prior to closure date.
Approved duration may be subject to approval by Council.
Driveway Line Marking
Do you require Driveway Line marking?
Additional crossings can also be marked. Refer to Addtional Fees.
Works Zones
Length can only be increased by 6m increments beyond the initial 12m length, regardless of site conditions.
The first 6 Months of the work zone is included in the application.
Length can only be between 6m and 12m length. A flat fee applies for both lengthed and will be determined based on your site.

Temporary Access over Council Land
Area (sqM) must account for all roads, fire trails and parks areas.
The applicant must reapply for access for periods that exceed 84 days, including the payment of all asscioated fees.
Stormwater Information
Road Reserve Hire
Applications must be made at least 7 days in advance, and provide Public Liability Insurance of at least $20 million and Workers Compensation Insurance. Hire subject to conditions.
Car Share Parking
You must ensure the location and car share meet the requirements of Councils Car Share Policy. The Policy is avliable here: CBC City Car Share Policy
Only 1 Car Share parking space can be applied for per application.
Part D - DA/CDC related Combined Work Permit Applications
The combined Part D Work Permit application is permits that are development (DA or CDC) related.
Combined Part D includes fees for:
Footpath Damage Inpections (FDI)
Street Boundary Levels (SBAL)
Road Opening Permit (RO)
Administration Fee (ADM)
You have the option to select a Vehicle Crossing(VFC) and/or Stormwater Conection(SWCP).

Select the number of extra crossings required for Other Development.
Stormwater drainage works including stormwater connection to Council’s Street kerb or Council’s stormwater drainage system.

Public Domain Activities:
Public Domain activities must be lodged as separate applications via Council’s online system, which may result in multiple administration fees being charged.
Where applications relate to the same address/project/applicant and they are made at the same time, Council may assess them as a single application and refund or credit any additional administration fees.
Civil Structure Over Public Domain:

Driveway Line Marking:
There is no limit to the number of driveway line markings, except that they are within the same street or adjacent corner. Line marking of extra crossings costs $ each. They MUST all be requested on the same application.
Stormwater Information:
Plan copies are made at $ per half hour or part there-of.
GIS plan searches are made at $ per half hour or part there-of.
Data maps not readily avaliable from Customer service. GIS plan searches are for larger/catchment areas.
Car Share Information:
The additional Installation charge of: $ will only be required should your applciation be succcesful.
Additional charges for bay marking will be made on an 'actual costs' basis. This will be supplied as a quote from Council.
